  Are you looking for a running events company that offers a good range of challenging and enjoyable trail running routes of varying distances in North Wales within easy reach of Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool? Do you want the whole family to have a great experience on the day? Then look no further than ‘Up Hill Down Dale’. This relatively ‘new-on-the-scene’ events company is a family-run affair which brings a fresh approach to trail running. From the moment you turn up to register for your race, the team will make you and your family feel very welcome. For the non runners, there is plenty to keep you occupied whilst you are waiting for your runner to return. Bouncy castles for the kids together with a snack bar will ensure that no-one gets bored, or goes hungry or thirsty. For the runners (and their dogs on the Cani-X events), ‘Up Hill Down Dale’ can be relied upon to put on a great event. Routes are carefully chosen to ensure that they are both challenging and scenic, leaving you with a great sense of achievement both during and on completion of your race. Drinks stations and checkpoints are all manned by friendly volunteers who offer words of encouragement in addition to snacks and water. I have run in several ‘Up Hill Down Dale’ events and can say that all of them have exceeded my expectations. I have never been disappointed; even after one of my running sandals broke with 4 miles left to complete and I had to finish the race barefoot. I was still smiling at the end! All-in-all, I can highly recommend these events and urge anyone who enjoys trail running (and Cani-X) in picturesque Welsh countryside to give them a go. You won’t be disappointed.
